How to enter recipes on MyFitnessPal

If you’ve read my blog with the article about Underestimating Calories you should be starting to understand the importance of being accurate with your food log. Choosing a generic recipe for a meal on MyFitnessPal is kind of like looking at a jar of change and trying to guess how much money is in it. It’s extremely unlikely that you’re going to get the correct calories or macronutrient information.

You wouldn’t track your finances by estimating the price of the things you purchase, so don’t do it with your food!  This is important with all foods, but especially with the foods that you have on a regular basis. Entering your recipes on myfitnesspal is easy! You can even copy and paste your ingredients in if you found them on a website or have them in a computer file. Watch the video below to find out how to enter the recipes. 🙂
